yeah they consider themselves as turkish mostly i mean many ethnicities in turkey consider themselves as turkish but azeris in turkey seeing themselves as basically same as anatolian turk. they are not wrong it makes sense. that's why it can be confusing to know if someone is azeri or turkish.
