El barri Ciutat Jardí-Carnatge està situat just al centre de la badia de Palma, a escassos quilòmetres del centre de la ciutat. És una platja popular i fàcilment recognoscible per la inconfusible silueta de l’hotel que porta el seu mateix nom, l’hotel Ciutat Jardí.

Una mansión del siglo XIX acoge las instalaciones del hotel Ciutat Jardí, en Palma de Mallorca. Entre amplios jardines tropicales, el establecimiento dispone de varios espacios destinados a relajarse y disfrutar de la estancia.

Su ubicación privilegiada en pleno bosque, rodeado de zonas verdes, y cerca del Centro Comercial Sa Teulera, las zonas deportivas como el Pins Padel o el Club de Tenis y la proximidad de los colegios San Cayetano, o el Sagrado Corazón entre otros y el recién inaugurado Liceo Francés en la misma zona, hacen de este complejo un lugar único para vivir.

El Arenal, Mallorca.
Socialmente, este barrio ha sido siempre muy popular en España (sobre todo en el interior) por ser uno de los lugares de destino más comunes para los viajes de estudios, tanto en su época de 8º de EGB como ahora de ESO y de Bachillerato. Esta idónea ubicación fue uno de los pilares sobre los que se apuntaló el éxito turístico a principios de los setenta: cercanía con una gran ciudad, playa, campo y una espectacular bahía natural, una de las más bellas y perfectas de todo el Mediterráneo como es la de la capital balear.
Una parte de El Arenal pertenece al municipio de Palma de Mallorca y la otra al municipio de Lluchmayor.
En la parte perteneciente al municipio de Palma hay menos espacio en la playa pero es mucho más larga y está plagada de zonas de ocio como discotecas, bares, cafeterías, mini-golfs y por supuesto, hoteles.

The most famous of them all is, of course, "Balneario Nº 6", which became a popular meeting place for party vacationers as tourism around Palma de Mallorca and the town of S'Arenal (El Arenal) increased. Actually, the name "Ballermann" is a modification or "Einindeutschung" of the actual name Balneario N° 6.
The 15 beach bars are located along a stretch of beach of about four kilometers with a distance of about 250 - 270 meters. These serve visitors well for orientation, with the hotels near Balneario N° 4 to Balneario N° 6 being particularly sought after by party vacationers. Here the ways to the Bierkönig, to the MegaPark, to the Oberbayern and other locations are only short.
Here you can find the famous Oberbayern, the Bierkönig and the Megapark: These locations at Ballermann are known even by those who have never been to Mallorca. One could almost think that it is even a German cultural asset. Mallorca is and remains one of the most popular vacation destinations for Germans.
Criticism from the locals grew louder and louder, which is why the authorities established rules of etiquette for Ballermann in May 2014. Drinking bouts as well as unbridled parties were to be completely stopped and the Platja de Palma was declared a so-called intervention zone, where fines of up to €3,000 can be imposed for violations. Nevertheless, people continue to party, even though things may not be quite as wild as they once were.
Rules of etiquette include a ban on the sale of alcohol in supermarkets between 0 - 8 a.m., a ban on excessive consumption of alcohol on the beach, and a ban on "bucket bobbing." However, people are allowed to continue partying and drinking in the bars and clubs. Therefore, the beach area is still a popular party destination today, as it has been for decades. Mallorca continues to be trendy for party people.
Parties still take place on the beach or on the boulevards. In addition, Mallorca has quite a great nightlife to offer. Not only that, but there is also culture there in abundance. For example, the capital Palma is home to the cathedral and the house of Joan Miró.
El Arenal is not only known for its party mile, but also for the beautiful beach of the same name. Here palm trees line a wide stretch of the beach. The beach itself consists of white sand and slopes slightly towards the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean.
In addition, there are many providers for sailing, water skiing or surfing. Another highlight is the sports harbor of El Arenal, which makes a Majorca vacation for sports enthusiasts a unique experience.

Ballermann in Mallorca - the classic
