your original hair color is already brown .

i think it would look gay because imo it looks gay most of the time when a dude dyes his hair .

when i was 17 - 20 i had blonde strains in my hair . it looked gay . but we all were on a jersey shore like stylo mylo area

When you have darker hair and you want to dye it lighter then you have to bleach it first otherwise it ends up orange

No Quranic verse talks about that 🤣 I do know dyeing your hair with henna is super common in the Muslim world
damn. did not know about that. i genuinely thought it was forbidden along with many other things. but as far as i know it is forbidden in judaism for a man to dye hair

I’m not expert but yeah there’s no verses in Quran about that, however there are several schools of thoughts that base their rulings off hadiths and their interpretations of Quranic verses so the rulings between a Shafii and Jafari and Hanafi scholar could differ based off their own research. I think Islam only forbids permanent bodily alterations like plastic surgery or permanent tattoos. Idk about hair dyeing although it is discouraged for men to imitate women and vice versa so I guess if dyeing your hair makes you look more girly then indeed it could be impermissible. Anyways, OP isn’t even Muslim so none of this relevant.
