as you know or should know by now we Kurds are one of the most darkwashed and one of the most misportrayed people in forums . with many dumb and wrong anthromyths that stick on us
and as you should know by now there are many gypsies in Kurdish regions . i made a thread about it and several posts where i shared information about it . and even though many Kurds dont mix with gypsies some certainly do / did and their offspring will often just claim they are Kurdish . like that 3/4 Kurdish 1/4 gypsy guy i met on another site and talked to .....in his threads he just said he is Kurdish . and on top of that many of our gypsies will larp as Kurds . and they will be on many crowd pics of Kurds too etc. etc. ....we already talked about it and that is one of the reasons why there is a misconception about how we Kurds look and what we actually are
now i want to give you another big reason why people think of Kurds as exotic
suntan + bad lightning + clothes + mustaches or beards . especially in middle aged and older men . many Kurds are tanned from the sun . we inhabit the east mediterranean regions . where sunlight is a thing you know ...lol
let me show you something as an example
this is the turkish actor Şener Şen . I love the guy . I have grown up with his movies and he is a great actor and also seems to be a good person too
his homeprovince is Adana
now look how much clothes , suntan , bad lightning , and beard makes a difference
on these photos he is playing a village head/chief in "muh eastern turkey"
notice the clothes and headwear . notice how the lightning is bad on the pics . notice how suntanned he seems to be likely from working in the hot area where they make the movie . notice his mustache etc. etc.

many kurdish men have mustaches . many kurds are suntanned . and many of the pics of Kurds trolls like to post have bad lightning . also there are not only kurds living in east/southeast turkey but other ethnicities aswell who will say they are Kurdish when they mixed or not even Kurdish at all (think of ibrahim tatlises who has an arab father and a dom gypsy mother as an example ...) . as you can see with the actor above it is totally useless to take tanned men with mustaches and ethnic clothing to represent an ethnicity
and also : taking the most exotic iraqi kurds to represent us is similar as if I would take the most exotic cypriots to represent Greeks , the most atypical sicilian or calabrian to represent italians , the most atypical canarians etc. to represent spaniiards . I dont know why we kurds are never "protected" from this bullshit and people love to do that so much ..

ok so i ran all of us Kurds whose gedmatch results i have posted in this thread through Harrappaworld to calculate our average S-Indian score
except 1 man because i couldnt find his kit number quickly . would need to dig it up on pms
the average s-indian score for us is : 2.146 . lets round it to 2.15 lel

harrappaworld is one of the best calculators to determine south asian admix . the s.indian component
and as you see yet again we Kurds have almost none . average score is 2.15
of course 0.00 would have been best (no offense . i just dont like the component) but 2.15 is a joke ..... very very small . and we have it from ancient populations who picked it up at some point . so not only is our score very small but it is also ancient . and there are many north caucasians and even some europeans (without gypsy mix) who will score that much or almost as much ....
and like i said in the thread of this man who scores 6.9 % when someone scores above 5-6% the chance to look south asian shifted increases DRAMATICALLY ...the higher the score the more . but i notice that around 5% or maybe 6% is the line and when that is crossed the possibility is highly increased . while below 5% it will have no effect most of the time .
this is the man with 6.9 % . he is some sort of iranian . could be even iranian kurd because i found him by one to many search using a kurdish kit . but i am not sure what he is i only know he is from iran

that is one of the reasons why there are a decent amount of iranians who will look south asian - oid . even if many iranians dont look south asian-oid either and look normal NWA
but there are a decent amount of iranians who score well above 5% . and i am not even talking about bandaris and balochs . but persians who score 8% minimum and even up to 14% !!!!! and 10% is a very typical and normal score for persians from east Iran
we Kurds are NOT like that as you see . our average score is around 2.15 %
so make out of this what you want . but it is a reason why there are persians like these :

as i said i calculated the average s-indian score of every Kurd in this thread whose gedmatch results i posted . except one because i couldnt find the kit quickly . and i didnt include the last dude i posted today since i didnt found him yet when i calculated the average but he scores only 1.59 too . 2.15 was the average score . i calculated it new including the last dude in it :
average s-indian score for us Kurds is = 2.13 ...lel
so as you see we Kurds have almost none of it . just for comparison .....even balochs and brahuis who are one of the most caucasoid and one of the lightest groups of south asia (if you include them as south asian . i dont really . to me they are a unique people who are neither west nor south asian . but if i had to decide they are south asian more than west asian oveall) on average score minimum 10 - 12 and some even up to 17-19 range . balkan gypsies score around 25 on average . punjabis 30 - 35 . sri lankans 60 - 65 . and this component peaks in tribals of south india like the paniya , pulliyar , hakki pikki etc.
just look at the 3 people in the quoted post who score 70 - 74 . the highest scores we have seen so far anybody scoring (the girl = 74 )
now . : there are a decent amount of Iranians that will score well over 5% . like 8 9 10 11 even 14 % . and i dont mean bandaris or balochs but fucking persians . for east persians 10% is very normal i am not even only talking about them but i mean central / north / west persians .

this kit i was given in a list of "just persians in general" : SL5685335 - 10.2 s-indian
and member ImHere posted a persian from teheran in the Eurogenes K12b thread with freaking 14% south asian . and the south asian component there is similar to the s-indian on harrapaworld and shows actual south asian . 14% for a persian is huuuuge .
i am not saying these Iranians are the typical iranian . nope . but there are a decent amount of persians scoring elevated s-indian .
did i already mention that the average score for us Kurds is 2.13 ? lol ....
you will NEVER EVER find a Kurd with scores such as these persian kits i just gave you . it is impossible . if you ever should see a "kurd" scoring that then be 1000% sure he/she is gypsy or mixed with gypsy / south asian .
regarding iranians it is not a shocker though . Iran is a big big country
but we Kurds are not like that . we (especially Turkey Kurds) seem to have been "protected" from the ranjeet through our mountains

from my analysis 5%+ and the chance is that you can look south asian influenced is increased
10%+ and the likelyhood that it will effect your looks is dramatically increased
