of course it’s not moro lol i’m talking about this stereotype
ah ok . lol i thought you meant that the term moro is used . which i never heard
but yes that stereotype exists very strongly
of course it’s not moro lol i’m talking about this stereotype
I saw two Kurds recently, I thought they were Turks.
it’s not exactly what u talking about people know who is kurd who is turk who is arab etc. accent reveals that. most people turkified but still people aware their roots. i saw many turkish nationalist kurd but still they know they are kurdish. arab and gypsy population is not that much high and gypsies are lives in very outside and isolated tbh i’ve never seen much gypsy in my life and i’m 22. it is not that possible to confuse kurds with arabs or gypsies. maybe arabs but not gypsies.
btw hatay is not darkest place imo many cities in southeast have more darker featured people.
lol i saw in twitter few days ago a kurdish citizen says unfortunately we were 2nd class citizen before than arabs/syrians came turks are 2nd class now and we are 3rd.ah ok . lol i thought you meant that the term moro is used . which i never heard
but yes that stereotype exists very strongly
When I first saw you, I thought you were very different for a Kurd, I mean, more western.i am

yeah agree with this many gypsies have still their lifestyle but probably some of them are with localbut accents you will hear most of the time when you talk to the people or even better know them personally . but when the average turk goes on the street or the mall or the supermarket etc. he will just see random people . and then when he sees for example gypsies then he will just assume they are kurdish because of his misconception
anybody who KNOWS many Kurds and Turks personally will tell you that there is not a drastic difference and that there is misconception of kurds
bro turkey has a lot of gypsies . one of the countries with highest gypsies lol . and this is exactly what i am talking about . you walk around and see them but dont know they are gypsies . not all gypsies are living on the street and are unwashed
