yes i read that before about my surnamethat's what i found for Gualberto, but is in Spanish:
Gualberto es un nombre predominantemente masculino de origen Germánico.
El nombre Gualberto tiene sus orígenes en las raíces germánicas «waldan», cuyo significado es “fuerza, potencia”, y «berth», que significa “ilustre, destacado”, por lo que su interpretación etimológica sería comprendida como “brillante por su poder” o “el que se destaca por su fuerza”.

i have the same issue with my east european ancestry, my great grandfather that i posted here and was classified as Dinarid he had a very possible East european surname but is also common in spain according to grandma he was really red haired( like grandma but lighter) and his father too he was red haired and green eyed not a very tall guy but according to grandma would be something like textbook Norid, the surname is Matas that even my mother carry it it's common in spain but is also common in Czech republic or croatia etc... grandma later have a very close coincidences with poles or other eastern europeans.Comes from my GGrandmother, who claims that her mother was full descendant of Slaves and her father was blond and blue eyed and she said that he or he parents were not born in Brazil, that surname comes from he, i thought that he was a Portuguese looking by some informations of some relatives but its unsure.

Lemme translate:
The uzeda family has their origin in Spain
We have doubt if we are Uzeda or Uceda (in spain has the same sound). Has a possibility that we descends from Spaniards from Vila de Uzeda, Spain. The fact is we know that we are descendants from a Uzeda family that get in ------------ in Bahia
Very interesting, i know in Portugal have a solid Ukraine-Slavic population, maybe in Spain occoured something similar?i have the same issue with my east european ancestry, my great grandfather that i posted here and was classified as Dinarid he had a very possible East european surname but is also common in spain according to grandma he was really red haired( like grandma but lighter) and his father too he was red haired and green eyed not a very tall guy but according to grandma would be something like textbook Norid, the surname is Matas that even my mother carry it it's common in spain but is also common in Czech republic or croatia etc... grandma later have a very close coincidences with poles or other eastern europeans.
