Dunno about Western Georgians being the most European looking Georgians. Most likely an internet myth. But trust me, any European looking Georgian would have signifcant ANF and Steppe to supress any exotic qualities.

we have a georgian member here . member Kartvel . he is even light eyed , pale skinned , light brown or dark blonde haired . he is 3/4 mingrelian and 1/4 svan . he also has done a genetic test and he scores around the same north european as i do but is a lot lighter than me
the caucasus component is not "exotic" . people like him have the most caucasus component

1. gets offended by any west asians being linked with europeans (even when it is about georgians) because they know that northern west asians are way too "white" for their taste and therefore they try to cockblock northern west asians from any association with europeans who they view as their masters . and they know they are heaviy mixed with AASI / Australoids / south eurasians and are scared to be left alone as the "brown people" ....a category they want to drag in any ethnic group they can into especially "Menas"

so CHG is very relevant for Europeans
