Pashtuns are pseudo-Hindu people. How can they be lighter than the Assyrians?

Northern Semitic people (Levant + Assyrians/Chaldeans) are by far lighter than the Afghans and Pakistani people.

Pashtuns live in a colder climate than dark assyrians who live in the arabian desert so it's completely possible

I don't agree with you. Assyrians are just a little bit a darker (more Levantine/Semitic shifted) version of the Armenians. Chaldeans look more 'Iranic' than the Assyrians.

Both West Asian groups are lighter than people from Southern Central Asia. But really, who cares?

Yeah, no one cares. I was just making fun of odelia for being a dark SW asian whose people claim to be northern west asian

By the way, I have nothing against the 'Southern West Asian' people. I am not sure about the averages, but when we do city-to-city comparisson, I can tell you that the Lebanese people from Beirut might be lighter than the Persians from Tehran.

I am one of those who believes that the ancient Italians and Greeks left some genes in the coastline of the Levant. Don't forget that also many Armenians live in Beirut. More than 150 thousand Armenians live in Beirut, maybe even much more when you are going to count the assimilated ones.

If you go deeper into the Levant you will encounter the more Bedouin admixed people

Some lebanese have said that they can't distinguish armenians living in lebanon from other lebanese. Armenians might as well call themselves arabs.

I think that many Armenians assimilated well among the Arabic majority. But, Armenians are the most chauvinist people I have ever met. If they know about their roots, they would never conceal it.

I don't know about lebanese but pashtuns seem to be lighter then SW asian Assyrians
The Lebanese are usually have olive skin or darker skin. The lighter Lebanese people I have seen are usually the woman, for the Muslim Lebanese, the man seems to be kinda dark, like a darker Greek. The lightest Lebanese are not any lighter than a Pontic Greek. For example, I am lighter than the average Lebanese man.

The Lebanese man is usually like this Iranian here that I am using as an example (for skin tone)

Or like this Cypriot. Between these skin tones.

Alright, I am done talking bs. Hemshen armenians immigrated to northeastern turkey's black sea coast near rize and hopa in 8th century. The are islamized but they have some extra caucasus admix comoared to eastern armenians from the republic

Most Eastern Armenians 'from the republic' are originally from Anatolia/Armenian Plateau and migrated into Armenia/Caucasus after the Ottoman genocide. Before the Armenian genocide there was no such thing as the 'Armenian republic'.

Hamshenis are also originally from the "Armenian Plateau", but when they migrated up to north, they mixed a little bit with the Laz people and even in some cases with the Pontic Greeks.

I actually agree with something you said.

That's basically what I said but I also implied that they are more caucasus admixed than the armenians from the republic. They surely show closer affinity to laz and eastern georgians compared to eastern armenians. I don't know if they mixed with pontic greeks since they are actually more northern shifted than trabzon turks and pontic greeks. They might be laz admixed or some sort of SW georgian admixed.

If their armenian ancestors mixed with people like the ancestors of modern day meskhetian turks, I wouldn't be surprised

In a recent past most of the Caucasus belonged to the Aryans and was part of the Persian Empire. The republic of Armenia didn't exist and Armenians never lived in the Caucasus.

Later on the Russian Empire conquered Aryan lands in the Caucasus from the Persian Empire.

After the genocide, the Russians felt a little bit sorry for the Armenians and the Russians repopulated the Armenia refugees from the Armenian Plateau into the current Armenian republic. This is how the republic of Armenia was created.

This is history.
