Don’t a lot of Mennonites in Mexico have a connection to Canada? I remember learning about a Mexican connection to Canadian Mennonites a few years ago.

Yes, the Mennonites of Mexico came from Canada, they immigrated from Canada to Mexico in the early 20th century.

So, Mexican Mennonites are literally the descendants of Canadian Mennonites.
