Im gonna be honest, i geniunly think north africans(at least coastal berbers) are the most darkwashed, along with south euros.

People always make them out as mulattos(some sort of look like it), when most of them looks like levantines and even some south euros.

Coastal Berbers can sometimes look like a cross between Iberians and Levantines. Sometimes even straight up either/or. Overall, they still maintain their unique look.

I think most do look like levantines, then some south euros. Im not sure if there's such look, but i guess only few has it(some sort of look mulatto, the coastal berbers)

I also want to add that North Caucasians are fairly misrepresented. Many of them hardly look distinguishable from their southern counterparts, especially Dags.

Turks have a distinct look but overall look similar to other west asians. They do not look like levantines or south euros (even though I've mistaken many syrians and greeks for turks)

first of all you are caucasian and you are also more southwest european than average moroccans iirc genetically

you are not dark

i consider north africans like you and your family as mostly white btw. . as you know to me white doesnt mean only europeans

i am speaking in general . facial features , hair texture , genetic profile etc. . north africa is very big though

I didn't say that you were. You are one individual after all. I was under the impression that North Africans in general were a bit darker on average compared to North West Asians but you do have an interesting take on this.

We're obviously more diverse than west asians but honestly the average maghrebi doesn't look dramatically darker than your average west asian. You can say maybe that west asians look more similar to europeans or that north africans have more people with dark skin yes but when strictly focusing on pigmentation I don't see much difference tbh

the coastal north africans who can look european in most cases look similar to iberians . while a bigger number of northern west asians will overlap with balkans in looks including greece

I think that's a reasonable outlook on the matter. Honestly, if NA were significantly darker than West Asians, I would imagine them to be Arabian or Pakistani colored which is probably not the case.

while swarthy or tanned NWA have a hazelnut kind of undertone
