Lmao some people have actually somehow mistaken me for being part Mexican even though I'm relatively fair and have light eyes. Only thing I can maybe think of is that I get fairly tan during the summer? Hmmm I think the reason wasn't only because of my phenotype though I think it was also due to my perceived social status, my family was fairly poor for being white in a rich neighborhood and for a while I worked a job that was stereotyped as being something Mexicans did, which I think could have contributed to this assumption instead of just phenotype surprisingly enough. I still wonder lol

I am of Canadian descent but of multiple different backgrounds. Although I was born in the US. From my research and parents knowledge, I am about 1/2 British/Irish/Scottish & Scottish Canadian, 1/4 Ukrainian from SW Ukraine, and 1/4 French Canadian with a few other distant ancestries.

When I was in university, I worked as a lifeguard over the summer, which resulted in a very dark tan. On top of that, I have very curly hair, so when I showed up on campus, people thought I was half black. They got confused in October when my tan started to fade.

I most often get mistaken for Greek, Italian, Lebanese, Egyptian, or Puerto Rican, which I can see.
