I am not good at the classification of anyone. All I can see is that he has more of the Jomon people look, than the finer Yayoi looks, at least as reconstructed from skulls, which is okay for men but not women. Is he from the north of Honshu?

He has Ainu/jamon blood but with some later admixture that you see now around in Japan, creating the more typical Japanese look.

He told me that his origin might be from Tsushima Islands.
The Ishikawa Prefecture is where he lives, far as I remember, what he told me, I think.
