I posted on Reddit, & talked about struggling with my mixed race identity, & I gotta admit, I went a bit personal talking about settling down with a white woman, which why many folks criticized & trolled me on a few Reddit forums.
I've always had a preference for Caucasoid women since I was really young, much before I started practicing Anthropology or being interested in race.
That being said, I'm not ashamed of my Amerindian side, I take a lot of pride in it, I wear a lot Native clothes, I watch a local Native American channel on TV, & I always mark both American Indian & White as my races on papers like college/job applications, census, etc, I been trying to learn Purepecha, my Indigenous language, I don't really hate being Mestizo.
I honor & treat both my Caucasoid & Amerindian sides equally, God made me a mix of both.
