Lets talk.
We have gone past the friendly anthropology small talk in classifying and stuff, so in your time in anthropology, what have you found what you like more in anthropology.
Physical anthropology. What do you like to discuss on about Physical anthropology.
DNA. What got you interest into DNA? And if you have took a DNA test, what made you take it.
History. Which stories are you interest that you like reading about.

Comment below, let me know. :coffee:🖥👀

History, culture, social relations, and folklore, mainly.

I do find physical anthropology interesting in some aspects, but I find online, discussions can go into very racist pseudo-scientific nonsense very quickly... the aspects of physical anthropology that interests me most is its application in forensics. I'm into crime shows and stuff like that, so that's where the interest comes from.

One thing is, I like learning about cultures I don't know much about.

And I like trying food from different cultures, plus I love to cook, so feel free to share your favourite recipes, I will try to make them.

history for sure, also genetics but we dont have many people to talk about latino genetics lol but then again, I dislike many Latino posters because they are so obsessed with whiteness and show their anti-blackness and anti-indigenousness, if only most of them were more respectful and didnt get mad for being the blackest or the most indigenous, how cool our genetic convos would be

i still hope Dominicanse can find El Andaullero on his 23andme so he can invite him here
also if someone knows where they can find stala, that would be cool, I miss her :( she was pretty cool

For me personally, the main studies of anthropology. the study of humans, both the ancients and modern populations. For both Physical and DNA.
And also History. All which come hand to hand. The studies of human language, culture, societies.

I did a minor Anthropology during my studies. Anthropology study at the university has some very interesting courses. I liked the economical and geopolitical aspects of the anthropology a lot. It was mostly about development of nations and reminded me a lot of 'geography'/geology.

I love history and geography, geography more than history though, and Anthropology is a combination of these 2.

Btw, I have got MA degree in Political Science (IR) and BA in Economics.

I have a BA in economics as well. Though I took computer science after and now work in FinTech.
