There is a difference between your nationaliy and diaspora?

i understand what you mean i wouldn't call it a europhile but somewhat agree with you.

turks who migrated in central europe, come mostly from rural areas, maybe that's why, but i don't think so. i think they are more conservative because of racism, being different etc.

yes I also think it's due to social factors where minorities tend to feel rejected and turn inward

it depends . some are very religious while others not so much

many turks here are nationalistic btw. . especially in younger years

some even to a point where they bitch about germany and always say how turks are the best and turkey is the best etc. . it is annoying as fuck not gonna lie

the thing is .....

those guys i am talking about go only to turkey for vacation and dont know the struggle of people in turkey etc , dont do millitary service there , live in germany and enjoy every benefits here . but then they say germany is shit and some even insult germans etc. ....i am asking myself just like you ...if you are such a nationalist why dont you go and live in turkey ?

i was born in turkey and came to germany at age 4 or so . since then i have never been to turkey (because of private reasons) ...and i didnt go to turkey military because i was studying and i am also mentally ill . on top of that i had a lot of trouble at home because my father is crazy and made our lifes very hard etc. . but i was actually playing with the thought of going . because i thought i should ....since it is my homecountry . my father and grandfather etc. have all served military in turkey .....and even though i am psycho and even though i havent been to turkey at all .... i was thinking like that . it also hurt me when they cut my turkish passport when i became german citizen

yet a good amount of these "nationalist" turks here in germany dont even think that way

which does not mean that turks are like this in general . they are not at all . turks are one of the peoples who would die for their fatherland

I'm also nationalist (not racist, i love my nationality and i want to best for my nation) but I'm not stupid. Facts are clear.

Things have been going bad for the last few years. It is easy to live in Germany and have a heavenly holiday in Turkey thanks to the exchange rate difference. If it's easy, let them come here and live. They can't fool the younger generation that's why the government is afraid of generation Z.

and some turks in germany confuse nationalism with islamism imo (i know they are not chechen or afghan like lol but some of them are very religious btw don't get me wrong i'm not muslim it's not bothered me just it's a bit annoying for ethnic german imo)

you can nationalist without islam i'm not joking almost i don't have muslim friend those who are muslim are just cultural. but many of us are nationalist.
