Don't forget that these people also have a lot of Steppe/EHG admix but not even that is enough to overcome their 28% S-Indian score

28 is not little though . as you know already above 6+ will have influence on looks often let alone above 10 let alone above 20

i am so glad that we northern west asians have almost none . 0.00% would be best but yeah ...good that we have almost none of it . this may sound harsh but i am just being honest ....thats how i see it .

When did I imply that 28% was little. Quite the contrary. I meant that even though they have a lot of EHG, some CHG and a little bit of Med they still look very exotic because they score 28% S-indian and it's hard to overcome such amount of S-indian even if you score more "whiter" stuff than that 28% s-indian

i calculated the average s-indian score from the harappaworld calculator of us 41 Kurds whose Gedmatch results i posted in the DNA CONFIRMED KURDS thread (not counting the Kurds that i posted there who i dont have the Gedmatch results but only 23andme or Myheritage)

the average s-indian score is 2.15

the s-indian score from harappaworld is one of the best south asian detectors and will show your actual south asian admix / ancestry . if i am not wrong this component is even not fully AASI but has a little west eurasian in it even . but either way it is the best component to go when you are wondering about south asian admix

when you score above 5% of it there is a good chance that it will influence your look but below 5% especially below 4% most of the time it will have no effect on looks .

so yeah the average score for us Kurds is only 2.15 % . so almost nothing . yet we are one of the most darkwashed and misportrayed ethnicity in the anthrofora world . what a bs

now imagine Persian individuals who score 8 - 14 % s.indian . s.indian is a stronger component than mongoloid . mongoloid will more often get diluted . while s-indian is very dark and exotic so it will influence looks even more

thats one of the reasons why there are Iranians who look south asian shifted and why we Kurds dont look like that because we have close to zero s.indian . thats one of the reasons why many Iranians can not pass as Kurds

just found this south asian dude on gedmatch per accident . he scores 55.59 % s.indian on Harappaworld and 64.23 % south asian in Eurogenes K12b

the s.indian component from the harappaworld calc and the south asian component from the eurogenes k12b calc are extremely exotic (of course)

i remember an owd indian dude on Anthroscape who looked like a mulatto or something (he really did look ssa like) and who got modelled as 1/4 papuan in the eurasia k9 calculator saying that indians are "west eurasian" . lol

by the way a south asian guy from reddit made a new Harappaworld calculator and shared the files for the calc and i ran myself and @Ben Dover

by the way the "mediterranean" component is based on sardinians most likely . that was the case with the old harappaworld calc . that is the reason why harappaworld underestimates mediterranean for a lot of people . the caucasus component has a lot of hidden mediterranean in it and even the SW-Asian component has some .

look at our s.indian scores . just like on all the calcs that show real south asian admix we score close to zero as usual .

oh and the baloch component is not from balochistan it is from western iran and the caucasus . Iran_N and CHG . it peaks in baloch / brahui people but they have 13% s.indian on average which is the reason why a decent amount of balochs/brahuis look curry . NOT because of the baloch component . Georgians score often 20% baloch even 22-23% . irish and british people often score 9-10% baloch sometimes even 12-13% ....yes they do i am not making it up you can check yourself .
