After travelling to more than 50 countries and building a location-independent life, Australian entrepreneur and content creator Jake Snow has amassed an Instagram audience of 1.6 million followers. He could have chosen almost anywhere to call home. In this episode, Helen sits down with Jake to explore why he and his wife Marie chose Mallorca as the place to slow down, raise their young family and create a more permanent base after a decade of travelling the world. Jake shares what Mallorca offers beyond the holiday experience, from the walkability and everyday lifestyle of Palma to beaches, mountains, family-friendly culture, healthcare and the growing question of schooling. He also explains why he believes renting before buying is one of the smartest things prospective residents can do, and what he learned from eventually purchasing and renovating their own property on the island. Their conversation also traces the unconventional journey that made the move possible: meeting in Thailand, creating an online business and building a global audience, before moving into boutique hotels in Bali and developing a new project in Cape Town. In this episode:
  • Why Mallorca stood out after travelling to more than 50 countries
  • How living in Mallorca differs from holidaying here
  • Why Jake and Marie chose Palma for life with a young family
  • The lifestyle, safety and sense of freedom they value on the island
  • Schools, healthcare and the practical considerations of raising children here
  • Why Jake recommends renting in Mallorca before deciding to buy
  • What they learned from purchasing and renovating their Palma property
  • Why trusted recommendations, local contacts and Spanish speakers matter
  • The realities of working online and building a location-independent life
  • How Jake and Marie built an Instagram audience of 1.6 million followers
  • Their journey from travel creators to boutique hotel owners
  • Why integration and learning Spanish matter when making Mallorca home
  • Jake's advice for anyone still wondering whether to make the move
For anyone contemplating a move to Mallorca, Jake offers a particularly useful perspective: that of someone who has spent years comparing different lifestyles around the world before deciding what truly matters when choosing somewhere to live.

Can Valero and Son Castelló Industrial Estates: Nightlife in Palma Nightlife in Can Valero and Son Castelló.When people talk about going out at night in Palma, they usually think of the Paseo Marítimo, Santa Catalina, La Lonja, or Playa de Palma. However, there is another, quite different side to Palma's nightlife: the scene found in the Can Valero and Son Castelló industrial estates. During the day, these areas are primarily dedicated to businesses, workshops, warehouses, and industrial activities. Come nightfall, however, some of these spaces undergo a complete transformation, turning into concert halls, clubs, electronic music venues, dance clubs, and spots where the night can continue until the early hours. It is a different kind of nightlife compared to Palma's more tourist-heavy areas, and for that very reason, it can be appealing to both locals and visitors looking for a unique night out in Mallorca. Can Valero: an area with its own nightlife vibe The Can Valero industrial estate is located in the western part of Palma and is home to several nightlife venues. One standout name right now is R33 Mallorca, located on Carrer Poima. The club focuses specifically on electronic music and is most active on Friday and Saturday nights. Its location within the industrial estate gives it a unique character: you aren't entering a club on a busy downtown street lined with bars, but rather an industrial space repurposed for nightlife. Son Castelló: concerts, clubs, and electronic music nights. If Can Valero has its own scene, Son Castelló boasts an even wider range of options. One of the best-known venues is Es Gremi, located on Carrer Gremi de Porgadors. Its programming combines concerts, parties, DJ sets, and various forms of music-based entertainment. It is one of the venues that most clearly demonstrates how an industrial estate can transform into a music hotspot in Palma. The area is also home to Selva Club, located on Gremi des Fusters. The club specializes in electronic music, with a lineup that includes genres such as techno, tech-house, melodic house, minimal, and other electronic sub-genres. Selva’s activity is concentrated mainly on Friday and Saturday nights, with sets that can last until six in the morning. Caña Brava: karaoke and dance music Another distinct option within Son Castelló is Caña Brava, located on Avenida 16 de Julio. The vibe here is completely different from the electronic music clubs; it is a bar featuring karaoke, Latin American music, cocktails, and dance sessions, making it a particularly appealing choice for groups of friends looking for a more casual night out. It currently operates as a nightlife venue from Thursday to Sunday, though hours may vary depending on the day and the scheduled events. Why are there nightclubs in industrial estates? The location is no coincidence. Industrial estates offer large spaces that can be adapted into concert halls and clubs—something far more difficult to achieve in Palma’s historic center. Furthermore, because they are situated away from the most densely populated residential areas, these venues can host late-night musical events with a different character than a small club located right in the city center. The result is a unique scene: industrial warehouses, spacious dance floors, electronic music, concerts, and parties that start late and run into the early hours of the morning. An alternative to the Paseo Marítimo A night out in Can Valero or Son Castelló is not the same as one on the Paseo Marítimo. In the tourist areas, you will find a higher concentration of bars, terraces, and nightclubs, whereas in the industrial estates, the nightlife tends to be centered around specific, individual venues. That is why it is a good idea to check the schedule for the night you plan to go out. Not all venues are open every day, and some operate primarily when hosting a party, concert, or scheduled event. In fact, Palma’s nightlife scene is evolving. In recent years, the sector has seen a rise in "tardeo" (afternoon/early evening socializing) and other leisure formats, shifting away from the traditional model of going out exclusively in the early hours of the morning. What kind of music will you find? It depends entirely on the venue. In Can Valero and Son Castelló, you can find a wide variety of options: 🎧 Techno and electronic music. 🎶 House and tech-house. 🎤 Live concerts. 💃 Parties and DJ sets. 🎤 Karaoke. 🌎 Latin music. 🪩 Theme parties. 🔊 Sessions that last until dawn. For this reason, rather than speaking of a single "industrial estate nightlife" scene, it would be more accurate to speak of different nightlife scenes concentrated within the same industrial area. Getting there and back There is a significant difference here compared to going out in Palma’s city center. Can Valero and Son Castelló are designed primarily for vehicle traffic, and the distances between venues can be considerable. If you plan to go out at night, it is wise to plan your return journey before you start. Taxis can be one of the most practical options, especially in the early hours of the morning. It is also advisable to check public transport connections for the area and specific return schedules beforehand. If you are going to drink, do not drive. While there may be parking near some venues in these areas, that does not make the car a good option for getting home after a night out. Is it a tourist area? Not in the same sense as Magaluf, Playa de Palma, or the Paseo Marítimo. That is precisely what makes it unique. The nightlife in Can Valero and Son Castelló is much more closely linked to the music scene and the local crowd, although certain events can attract visitors from elsewhere. For those visiting Mallorca who want to experience a different side of Palma’s nightlife, it can be an interesting alternative to the more well-known areas. A different kind of night out in Palma The Can Valero and Son Castelló industrial estates demonstrate that Palma’s nightlife is not limited to the areas usually featured in tourist guidebooks. Amidst industrial warehouses and streets that bustle with completely different activity during the day, some of the city’s most distinctive music venues operate. If you are looking for electronic music, concerts, DJs, karaoke, or parties that last until the early hours, it is worth checking the schedule before deciding where to go. And one final recommendation: in these industrial areas, schedules and opening times can vary significantly from day to day. Before heading out, always verify that the venue is actually hosting the planned session or event that night. Palma’s nightlife is here too—you just have to step off the beaten path to find it.

Here is some more historic bullshit fresh from wikipedia and all things academic!!! History is a lie and we did not build this. Nor did some scruffy convicts (who didnt even exist) or some poor peasants or anyone calling themselves british or australian. This is old realm. Melbourne City Council opened the first City Baths on 9 January 1860, which housed public baths (3 years after the opening of the London Baths). The objective was to stop people from bathing in the Yarra River, which by the 1850s had become quite polluted and the cause of an epidemic of typhoid fever, which hit the city resulting in many deaths.[3] However, people continued to swim and drink the water. The baths were leased to a private operator, but lack of maintenance resulted in such deterioration of the building that the Baths were closed in 1899. After a design competition was won by John James Clark working in partnership with his son, E. J. Clark, construction of a new building started in 1903, and the bath was opened on 23 March 1904. Strict separation of men and women was maintained, with separate pools (the larger 30m [100 ft] pool was for men), and separate street entrances. Two classes of facilities were provided, with second class cubicles containing "slipper baths" (where one end is raised and sloped creating a more comfortable lounging position) on ground level, and "first class baths" on the main floor and a mikvah and turkish baths. The popularity of the swimming pool increased with the introduction of mixed bathing in 1947, and it became the venue for swimming competitions.

This false history gets boring after you read the same basic story over and over and over again. Why build such elaborate buildings for such tiny purposes? But here we go again.... Melbournes Teachers College The 1888 Building (Former Teachers’ College) eventuated from talks between the Education Department and Minister for Lands for the establishment of a college for training teachers, beginning in 1877. After years of negotiation, the land was eventually handed over from University property to the Education Department in 1887. Constructed in three stages between 1889 and 1892 by the Public Works Department (PWD, forerunner of the Metropolitan Board of Works), the building became a boarding school for University High School in 1893 after it was leased following government cuts. The building returned to the Education Department in 1898, reopening in 1900 as a training institution for teachers. The college and land returned to the University in 1989.

Built in the height of the gold rush..........omg here we go again!!!! if 1884 was the height of the gold rush with a few toothpicks and 1 spade there must be a shit tonne of gold left in them ol' hills!!! I just cant stand how elaborately they tell these lies......read this bullshit below...and who the fuck is george nipper!!!! cant find him anywhere!

Another one with a whole pile of bullshit history attached to it. I am so enjoying watching this illusion/pseudo history fall apart. #history is a lie.

The history on this building is elaborate and a lie. Wow look at all the details they made up to sell this story. Of course we know better my friends and this building has all the tell tale signs - red brick tower, huge underground building covered up, impossible to build in the 1800s!!!

Most people spend years unravelling the story they were sold about the systems, the narratives, the carefully constructed reality that was never truly ours. But deconstruction is only half the journey. Out of the Matrix and into Your Mission is about what comes next: finding the thread of genuine purpose that was always underneath the noise, and learning to build a life that's actually yours......an important message for the truth community and episode one in this new unravelling.

So yes you guessed it - both built in a year- no pictures - no information. History is a lie.

Gene Keys creator Richard Rudd reveals the massive evolutionary shift currently underway, explaining that an ancient cycle dating back to 16,000 BC is closing to birth the "crystalline human". Drawing from the Gene Keys and cosmic Yuga cycles, he breaks down how dormant DNA codes are activating our higher bliss body, transforming awakening from an ethereal escape into a grounded physical embodiment of heaven on Earth. Looking ahead to pivotal timeline markers—including the "closing door" of 2026 and the major 2027 crux point—Richard explains that while artificial intelligence and collapsing institutions represent the final flourish of an exhausted system, genuine evolution is quietly germinating within our consciousness. He unpacks the mutation of Gene Key 55, showing how humanity is moving beyond the shadow of victimization into a rich collective awakening defined by freedom, creativity, and high romance. Grounding these macro cycles into daily life, Richard urges listeners to navigate external turbulence by facing their personal trauma and composting subconscious shadows into creative gifts. By reconnecting with mythic memory, bridging left- and right-brain polarities, and adopting "pronoia"—the cellular conviction that the universe is working in our favor—we stabilize our biology and step into true creative agency during this collective transition. Will you remain captivated by the decline of an old world, or are you ready to do your shadow work, unlock your inner codes, and embody the crystalline human today?

On October 7, 2026, the sky over Giza stayed quiet- and Chris Bledsoe was mocked for it. Now he says his prophecy came true after all. Hours before Regulus rose in front of the Sphinx, OpenAI released 722 papers of AI-generated mathematics that even it's creators don't fully understand yet. Days before that, a statement attributed to the Kogi Elders of Columbia warned that AI is a mirror. I lay out both cases... prophecy fulfilled or goal post moved? You decide.

Alcudia, Mallorca.
The most exclusive golf course associated with the Porsche family in Europe is Club de Golf Alcanada. [
  • Location: Situated in the northern part of Mallorca, right along the Mediterranean coast in the Bay of Alcúdia.
  • Exclusivity: Widely ranked among the top 50 golf courses in Europe, it is celebrated for its pristine condition, fast greens, lack of artificial water hazards, and dramatic sea views.

The German golf patriarchs on Mallorca

German entrepreneurs transform some of Mallorca's top golf courses

Canyamel
In the early 1990s, Hans-Peter Porsche, the grandson of Ferdinand Porsche and member of the supervisory board of Porsche AG, bought land in Alcanada in the north of Mallorca to build a golf course. In 2003 he opened Golf Alcanada, considered one of the most beautiful courses in Europe – due to its privileged location with sea viewsand excellent grounds maintenance.

In 1988, the “king of drugstores,” Erwin Müller (‘Müller Märkte’), together with Mallorcan, Gabriel Alcina, opened an 18-hole-course outside the holiday resort Canyamel, in the northeast of the island. In 2012, after a fall out with Alcina, Müller bought his shares and has been the sole owner of Golf Canyamel ever since.
Not satisfied with other golf courses on Mallorca, Adam Pamer, co-owner of the ‘Hapa-Fenster AG’, built his own course in 2003 just outside Palma. His Golf Son Gual is considered one of the most exclusive courses across Europe due to its design, maintenance, and green fee prices.
At the end of the 1980s, Ingolf Böx, a Northern German real estate millionaire and corporate attorney, took over a stalled golf course project in the northeast of Mallorca, opening Capdepera Golf in 1989, just a few kilometres away from the village of the same name. The 18-hole course is run by Böx’s ex-wife Gabriele and her daughter Sara-Virginia Böx.

In 1995, the Schörghuber company group (including Arabella Hotels) took over Palma’s luxury hotel Son Vida as well as its golf course – Arabella Golf – and turned it into one of the most exclusive golf-hotel resorts in Europe. Following the death of company manager Stefan Schörghuber in 2008, his widow Alexandra Schörghuber has run the business and since October 2016, the hotels have been managed by the Marriott group.
After the bankruptcy of the golf course Golf de Andratx in 2015, several of its German shareholders took over the club in Camp de Mar. The manager is German entrepreneur, Dirk Dünkler.

Join us for a fascinating conversation about the origins of Australia's history and how that weaves into the magic of Tartaria and the old realm here in Australia. And indeed our history is a lie and none more startling than that of Australia. Could it be that THE LAND OF OZ is the centre of the entire control agenda?

What if the most shocking truth about our past isn’t in what’s been found—but in what’s missing? We uncover the eerie absence of toilets in the world’s grandest cathedrals, palaces, and castles—structures built with perfect geometry, advanced materials, and sacred design principles, yet no place to relieve yourself. Were these monumental buildings really created by candlelight societies that wiped with leaves? Or were they powerful energy machines—resonance chambers built to heal the body, align the mind, and channel vibrational frequency through organs, stained glass, and stone? This episode dismantles the mainstream timeline, exposing plumbing as a reset technology and still water as the trap. Once you ask the question—why no toilets?—you’ll never unsee the truth buried beneath your feet.
