"Recent DNA tests have proven the Picts were closely related to the Basques of northern Spain. The connections between northern Britain and Celtic Spain are supported by many myths and legends"
http://www.englishmonarchs.co.uk/picts.html
Look how the shady "norse" hide who were the Picts and the importance and greatness of the Picts/Basques by just calling the Picts "aboriginal pre norse dark race" by dark they mean dark hair because the Basques are very pale skinned but with dark hair. The fake norse dont want to admit that the Picts/Basques are the real norse/germanics and that the so called norse of today are supplanters/impostors
Orkney & Shetland Folk
"The earliest inhabitants, of whom we have any record, were the Picts"https://www.gutenberg.org/files/50249/50249-h/50249-h.htm "J.H. Todd mentions that the Agathyrsi were a tribe from Scythia which derives from Agathyrsus who was the son of hercules" W.J. Watson states that the use of "Agathyrsi" as a name for the Picts derives from Virgil and Herodotus.https://books.google.es/books?id=iA...cCM#v=onepage&q=herodotus on the picts&f=true

These doomed fake norse did the same thing in America but they hid that the real Americans are the Picts/Basques.

Hateful and jealous scumbags.

The legend of King Arthur: at a recent reenactment event the subject of Vitrified forts and King Arthur arose, as I was told one of the legends refers to a castle made of glass. There are many theories as to where Camelot was and I'm not going to say that this is one. More a case of singularly odd things that may play into the topic for discussion. Whilst we don't have a record of a place called Camelot, there was a huge fort on the Antonine wall called Camelon. The Pictish kingdom was north of the fourth till around the 10th century. Whilst the Kingdom of Strathclyde was a statelite state under Pictish overlordship for much of the Dark ages. The most powerful kingdom in What was to become England was the Anglian kingdom of Northumbria. The site of Camelon (in Falkirk) was for the most part in Northumbria (though it is now in Scotland). There was an island in the fourth (https://www-scotsman-com.cdn.ampproject.org/.../amp...) that again is in the same location and would of been reached by boat (maybe Avalon). I don't know enough about the legends to speculate on them, however the location would certainly place it near the Picts and the Welsh. If Merlin was a Druid, it is quite likely that he would of been a Pict as they had been forcibly removed throughout most of England and Wales by the Romans. Adomnan's book "The life of Saint Columba" referred to Columba meeting the Pictish King bruide and dueling with his chief magician (druid). Is Adomnan's Law of innocents signed by the Pictish and Irish chieftains in 697 AD, where the story Involves looking after women, children and priests the reference point of Arthur bringing order out of chaos? (though the law of innocents was not signed by the Welsh or Angles to my knowledge) If Arthur United the kingdom of Angles probably the Anglian kingdom of Northumbria would of been a good starting point? A topic for those with a passion on the subject of King Arthur much greater than my own.

Merlin was indeed a Druid/Pict.

Such a shame that the author completely drops the ball about the disappearance of the Picts! Cinead (cinead is a Pictish name, that became Kenneth under Anglicisation) MacAlpin was crowded King of the Picts, though he is believed to have a claim to the Dalriardan throne through their patriarchal system, and the throne of Pictland through the matriarchal system. The kingdoms of Dalriarda and Pictland united in the face of viking and Northumbrian incursion, eventually becoming the kingdom of Alba under Cinead's grandson Constantine the second, Alba was increasingly referred to as Scotland as it has adopted the culture of the Scots Gaelic kingdom of Dalriarda.
