I tried to make a list of sources where you can read a bit about the pre-Christian Polish faith (a difficult topic about which most of the informations and resources were lost on the course of Poland’s complicated history), but also focused strongly on topics like the remnants of the ‘paganism’ in the Polish folklore and the related elements of archaeology and history of the early Poland. The list focuses naturally on Poland, which is the main topic of my blog and of my own research, but I included there also a few links to sources about the other related West Slavic peoples, including the extinct tribes of Polabians and Pomeranians who, theoretically speaking, were the closest relatives and neighbours to the early Polish tribes not only geographically but more importantly in the matter of the old pre-Christian beliefs. A bit of an irony: the extinct culture of theirs has nowadays much more of the original resources in the form of the informations written down in the medieval chronicles than the proto-Polish tribes. In a way, the original pre-Christian Polish beliefs are among the most mysterious historical ‘pagan’ religions in Europe simply due to the scarcity of the written historical records.https://lamusdworski.wordpress.com/polish-paganism-resources/

A 1327 – 1500 de altitud se encuentra el mayor hayedo de Europa que cuenta con un área esquiable de 28 kilómetros con pistas de esquí nórdico. A esto se suman 14 kilómetros de pistas para rutas en raquetas. Junto al parking, puedes alquilar todo el equipo necesario. Verás que el esfuerzo merece la pena cuando empiezas a vislumbrar las vistas únicas de las montañas de Haute-Soule y Navarra.
Además de reñidas batallas de bolas de nieve, grandes y pequeños podrán disfrutar de los placeres del trineo en un espacio específico. Por la noche, para poner el broche final a un día maravilloso en un lugar mágico, duerme en una de las 35 cabañas de madera. Con capacidad para entre 2 y 29 personas, ¡el ambiente de montaña está asegurado!
¿Y en verano? Irati se convierte en una zona de pastoreo donde los animales –caballos, vacas, ovejas– pastan a sus anchas. Las sendas pueden recorrerse en bicicleta o a pie para descubrir una fauna y flora generosa. Atraviesa el bosque hasta la cumbre de Orgambideska a 1420 m de altitud. La ruta puede continuarse hasta el pico de Ori, a 2017 m. Se tardan 5 horas ida y vuelta. Esta ruta es difícil y hace falta ir preparado.
