South Americans: Han vs ANE

A sequel to the thread Udmurts: CHG vs EHG.

Here, I compare South Americans who I think look either Han shifted vs those that look to be ANE shifted.

South Americans get the most ANE like Surui, Paiter, Andian, & Karitiana who score around 40% ANE similar to Udmurts of Russia and Finland.
Not comparable to North Americans who get around 20% or 10% depending on the nation (s).

ANE is a 78% west eurasian and 22% basal east eurasian/south asian/onge mix. For these reasons, it doesn't make sense for them to resemble South American Amerindians and Han Chinese.

As an southeast asian they couldnt even pass in my country let alone as han chinese

Tarim EMBA was predominantly ANE . and ancestralwhispers made Tarim EMBA reconstructions and those reconstructions look Russian - esque .

but they made their hypothetical ANE reconstruction looking very different from the Tarim . it doesnt make any sense

if you ask me my guess is they looked like less mongoloid chuvash or something

I think ANE were actually darker then. Before Siberia was the borealian wasteland that it is now, it was rather greener and lush in their time. Think of the Gap between the glacial melt of the beringian strait when Western ANE who became lighter as well as trecked to Europe vs Eastern ANE who probably stayed the same or became darker, that should give you the picture. It's even worse to consider them lightskinned or blonde haired. It is Western ANE who gained the alleles for lightskin and blonde hair.

i doubt they were darker but lets say what you say is true . how can you say that CHG was light then ? considering CHG being mostly Dzudzuana + ANE or Basal + ANE

Easy. CHG mixed with Western ANE who had alleles for lightskin, therefore CHG were white.
