there is a big obsession with skin color on in the anthrofora world . from all kind of people regardless of ethnicity . I myself find it fucking stupid but I thought we might as well talk about it .
I am not a person who agrees with the idiotic "the lighter the better" kind of thing that many threads have ...but I get annoyed when some people say false things regarding the pigmentation of my own ethnicity or of other west asians
i remember there was a guy on AS saying "kurds barely qualify as having olive complexions" . can you believe this ? wow .... so olive is "too light" for us even according to certain people . i wonder how they imagine kurds to look like
why are we so darkwashed ? it is fucking crazy .
that kurds are so much darker than turks is a myth btw. . we are a little darker than turks yes . but not nearly as much as people in forums believe . and it is more so that some parts of turkey has more light people mostly the northern coasts and places like bursa for example . but we are not the darkies in turkey ...thats nonsense . dark people in turkey are gypsies and certain arab groups in places like hatay (south turkey) etc. . as you see also in the kurdish gallery I made we are not "dark" people . in fact we are some of the lightest "menas" there is
I actually think we are one of the most misintepreted and darkwashed ethnicity there is on the anthroforas/internet along with south italians , greeks , albanians and a few others
