School Shooting in Nashville

horrible

RIP
Yeah, I saw it on the news this morning, the shooter was biologically female, but identified as male.

She also suicidal, but had no prior criminal history, I was watching the high speed chase of OJ Simpson the other night on YouTube, & a psycharist mentioned that people who are suicidal can also be homicidal at the same time.

People want to blame mental health issues for these kind of circumstances, over 90% of people with mental health issues don't go to a school or church & kill a bunch of innocent people, these kinds of stereotypes about mentally ill people just leads to more stigma, which is why people don't seek professional help.

Keep in mind, that mental illness is a Spectrum, which can range from less severe like Anxiety or ADHD to more severe like antisocial personality disorder.

She also attended that Christian school, & I think she was failed by both the mental health & school systems, this is why school shouldn't be mandatory, it should be a choice, some kids are just not school material, & if they feel like they don't need an education, that should be their choice.

As for her being transgender, I noticed, not all, not all, but most transgender have gone through some form of misery or trauma in their lives, like they were raped or molested as kids, they never had a father, they failed in maintaining relationships, etc.

Another reason is that every time there's been a mass shooting, the media always covers it, & I feel like people want some fame so they go & shoot up a school or a mall to become famous, because they seen a previous shooting on the 6:00 news, if the media stopped talking about mass shootings, there would be less shootings.

Also, they talk about gun control, politicians been talking about gun control for at least a quarter century now, & not much has been done to take effect, guns will never be fully banned in the states, because it's in the 2nd amendment, if a new constitution was to replace the current one, which is almost 300 years old, like other countries like Mexico & Chile have done, maybe that could change things, but personally, guns don't kill people, people kill people, & owning a gun comes with a lot of responsibility, someone that is sick in the head shouldn't be near a firearm, yes I'm a Republican & a moderate conservative, but a little bit of gun control wouldn't hurt either.

Just my two cents.

isnt it actually a biologically born male trans to female ?

well mental illness is not a "spectrum" per say but rather there are different forms of illnesses

not sure if people "blame" it on mental illness ....it is rather that obviously if a person goes out and shoots people then he/she is either a sadist of some sort or indeed mentally ill .

the problem is when you would act as if any mentally ill person will do such a thing . which is of course bullshit . especially since like i said there are many different illnesses and within the illnesses themselves there are spectrums (what you said )

but even when someone is as ill as this piece of shit there is always the human factor in it . be sure that there are many people out there who suffer from the same illness as this fuck but they wouldnt do such a thing even if they would have the urge (from their illness) to do so .

however this is a very complex topic

She was born female, so she was female to male, I believe in earlier news reports they misgendered her.

I think in the context of shootings like what happened in Nashville, they are talking about severe mental illness, where the individual is so sick in the head, that they make irrational & poor choices.

But yeah, there's so many mental illnesses out there, but because the shooter was a white woman, they use the mental illness, remember when that Mestizo shot up that elementary school in Texas last year, & they thought he was an illegal alien, when he was actually born here, so they way Americans (especially right-wingers) see it, a White does it, it's mental illness, if it's a black, then it's gang related, if it's a MENA, then it's a terrorist, & if it's a Mestizo, then it's a illegal alien, Americans always see race in everything when it comes to this particular situation, it's always the race card, conservatives accuse progressives in playing the race card, but many conservatives also play the race card too, I feel like America is becoming more lost as the years go by, it's sad.

But yeah, it's a very complex topic.

yeah school shootings are pretty much a worldwide phenomenon now
Interesting, does race ever get brought up when a shooting happens in Brazil, I know it does get brought up here a lot, I am aware that Brazil has a very race oriented culture like we do.
