i watched the entire documentary.
its rather out of political gains than just wanting to larp, as romas like other ethnicites, are restricted from rights like turkish citzens. this is why romas have to assimiliate and even drop their language to become turks themselves. and obviously the roma ethnicity is looked down upon, so thats why
