I’d say the indid part is more Melanid cause of the flared nostrils or perhaps it’s veddid. The south Asian in gypsies comes from their ancestors who were nomadic outcastes, generally people of lower castes or the backgrounds they descend from have more melanid than north indid phenotypes. I think the European admixture gives a pseudo north indid look, so it can fool people.
