Police Brutality in America (Defund the Police)

“Defund the police” is kind of a bad slogan, when what really they want is to reallocate money from the police budget towards social programs like mental health, to prevent such encounters between cops and civilians.

And I mean, framing it in another way, strengthening community resources could make the job of police easier and safer.

Yeah I agree, I don't really like that slogan either but its whats being used out in America
hows police brutality up in Canada? im sure its not as BAD as in America but then again, we arent really informed about other countries, especially our neighbors

Police brutality has gotten REALLY bad during the pandemic by the police enforcing quarantine. I was on the receiving end of it myself back in December.
