When your uncle was younger, with all that hair on his head, he looked like some of the people in Ireland, the ones with a long face, pale complexion, dark hair and pale colored eyes. They are usually referred to as some sort of Mediterranean resurgence from the Neolithic farmers.
Now that he is older, in Australia, he would be taken as just another middle aged Anglo Australian man. He could pass anywhere in Europe or where European people are the majority as in Canada, Australia, New Zealand... the Colonial countries.
