Contrary to the common belief and misconception that non-curryoid Iranians overlap the most with kurds phenotypically is wrong. From what I have seen on anthroforums, only a few people bring up the similarities between levantines and non-curryoid persians and in my opinion there is a pretty solid overlap between these two people more so than the overlap non-curryoid persians have with kurds ( this does not apply to NW Iranians like Talysh, Gilaki, etc or some Iranian and Iraqi Kurds)

because of the language families mostly and also because levant is on the mediterranean sea while iran doesnt and iran borders pakistan and afghanistan . so there you go

it is absolute horseshit . there are many iranians who will look normal northern west asian (and also overlap with balkans etc) even if there is a significant amount of iranians who do look south asianoid or score elevated s-indian on harappa etc. . but many iranians are normal northern west asians
and with Kurds ...we are "even whiter" than Iranians in general and our average s-indian score is 2.2 % so basically nothing . only some individual Kurds from deep south / east from iraq / iran will have 6-7% s-indian but it is possible that these Kurds mixed with gypsies or with some curryoid iranians or something . but yeah our average score is 2.2 .
