1. northwest iranians dont look like "arabs" . the only arabs they have overlap with are north levantines . northwest iranians look similar to us Kurds and other northern west asian peoples . especially Talysh and Gilakis

2. northern west asians are WAY whiter than Pashtuns in every way . we are genetically closer to europeans than you , we are geographically closer to europe than you , we are lookwise closer to europe than you . we dont have AASI that you guys have in significant amounts . and we have more mediterranean farmer ancestry than you have . these 2 differences alone makes us "whiter" alone

3. even though there are of course a decent amount of pashtuns who will look like us or like europeans (like you and your dad for example) ....there are also at the same time many pashtuns who look exotic and a decent amount even looks south asian

Pashtuns have more Northern European shared ancestry from my understanding while West Asians have a lot of SW Asian ancestry and are heavily Anatolian farmer yet Afghan Pashtuns have a good amount also .. The only thing really about Pashtuns most people can argue about is AASI ancestry but that’s minimal ..

Look at my results good portion of my ancestry is shared European and that’s Northern European related ..

Davidski’s paper about Pashtuns and Kalash being 60% Shared European, 30% Iranian farmer, 10% Onge East Eurasian .. is a good write up..

I think you’ve encountered NE Pashtuns or Pakistani Pashtuns because South central and Southern Pashtuns look like a different race compared to the NE Pashtuns and that’s not your fault to think that because less of us are abroad ..

This guy is from my village and has a common look and even the skin tone is a pinkish peach while West Asians are usually Pale white ..

These Pashtuns live in the same geographic hot area of Baluchis and you can clearly differentiate a southern Pashtun from a Balouch ..

Kurdish average s.indian score is not quite 1.5 but 2.2 . so hardly more lol but just for the record

the 5% rule is a proportional thing . meaning the higher the score after 5 the more likely it will have an effect on looks so someone who is 6-7 it will often show but often it wont too . so it means that the 6-7 s.indian Iran N likely didnt look curry either . at least many probably didnt
