Northern filipinos are more likely to be closer to pure austronesian(taiwanese aboriginals), southern filipinos have mainland southeast asian admixture, like austroasiatic

My ancestors are southern filipinos, my dna says i havd dai admixture, dai are ususally found in southern china, laos, thailand, and vietnam

Can you post some examples for both.

Maybe you can make one picture for both with example faces. One of southern Filipino and one of northern Filipinos

Southern Philippines has substantially more Papuan and Dravidian admixture, while Northern Philippines has less. (You can see it in the phenotype too)

Average Papuan admixture in Northern Philippines is only around 2-5%, while Southern Philippines can have over 10-15% Papuan and over 10% Dravidian DNA too.

Northern Philippines has more Han-like admixtures ranging from 15-25% on average... also some Japanese input in there too based on the DNA results I've seen.

Note: Austronesians themselves and their homeland in Southern China are theorized to have descended from Hoabinhians/Australoids as well probably mixing with Mongoloid-like peoples to form the base Austronesian component which is now stabilized.

The real East Asian component is the Yellow River farmer DNA and various Siberian populations' DNA... Though the country of China is mixed with Austronesian and Austro-Asiatic components as well depending on location. The Yellow River farmer DNA is the dominant component in China though.

Here's a very good article on East Asian DNA: https://magazine.richmond.edu/artic...pe-of-people-who-first-settled-east-asia.html
