muh "white" ...who do you consider white ?

there are so many topics about whiteness in various forums . some people are obsessed with the term . now let us talk about it here i mean why not ? it is interesting and i want to read opinions of others

me personally i consider these people white :

- all europeans

- most northern west asians (Armenians , Kurds , Georgians , Pontic Greeks , many north Iranians (but not all) and many Levantines (but not all) etc.)

- ashkenazi jews , sephardic jews , many mizrahi jews




not white :

SSA people

east eurasian people such as chinese , japanese etc.

most south asians

gypsies

oceanic people such as papuans , australian aborigines

many southern west asian people like many yemenis , omanis , many arabians

many north africans

native american people

some iranians and a good amount of levantines . those iranians who look south asian shifted and score elevated s.indian . and when it comes to levantines they can have ssa and they can look exotic especially south levantines

i consider castizos as kinda white too btw

I can agree with a lot of your classifications. If you took the traditional clothing away from some of these groups, many people could easily pass as ordinary citizens in Mediterranean European countries. 😂

Personally, I would look at two main factors: broadly Caucasoid facial features and skin tones ranging from fair to light brown, (pale to bronze and olive complexions). Of course, there’s a lot of variation within every population, so there will always be individuals who don’t fit neatly into one category. Appearance can overlap quite a bit between Europeans and West Asians, especially around the Mediterranean.

As for Castizos, I think those who look predominantly Caucasoid or white could be considered white based on appearance alone in the United States. I’d put Castizos in a similar category to North Iranians and Levantines, where many, but certainly not all, could be considered white depending on their individual appearance.

Some castizos can look mostly Caucasoid but have a new world vibe, like a Mexican castizo have that Mexican look but have very Mediterranean facial features, those could be for debate were some consider them. Like Chicharito Hernandez. But I did say from light to light brown the darkest naturally, you can get darker by sun and still be white. But yea depends Who you ask i Guess.
