compare the OP pics . punjabis are one of the most northern indian groups . and pakistans population consists in a big number of punjabis , sindhis , kashmiris who look indian most of the time . rest of the population consists of balochs and pashtuns and some other groups . even the muh iranic speaking baloch and pashtuns look very different from us .....the indic speakers are a different planet alltogether

this thread is not pointless . there are many wrong anthromyths about Kurds on the internet and many people believe this nonsense . and many punjabis and other north indians , pakistanis etc. think they overlap with us . just lol

Most people don't know what Kurds are so most south asians don't think of them. I think the difference is roughly the same, Greeks and Swedes usually look nothing alike - at the end of the day South Asians don't look like West Asians on average and Northern Europeans don't look like Southern Europeans on average. Europe and Asia have many subregions.

I am south asian bro lmao and yeah I agree we look nothing alike but I don't think all Europeans look all that similar - Europe and Asia are both very diverse with several subregions. Us South Asians are mixed race people so of course we have a very distinct look and I think mixed race regions can't be compared to regions which are purely one race.

No one thinks Punjabis and Kurds look alike, no Punjabis think that either in fact I'd be surprised if most Punjabis even know who Kurds are and vice versa, I don't think the average Kurd can name any south asian ethnic groups besides "indian". Are there delusional people that think they look like another ethnic group?
