Karen is a slang term that is used to typify a woman perceived to be entitled or demanding beyond the scope of what is considered appropriate or necessary. One of the most common Karen stereotypes is that of a white middle-aged woman, typically American, who displays aggressive behavior when she is obstructed from getting her way; such women are often depicted as demanding to "speak to the manager" and sometimes have a variation of the bob cut.

Kevin is basically the male equivalent of Karen and now a days, any race can be a Karen or a Kevin

Two weeks ago I was in the grocery and there was this total Karen with her grubby hands all over every package of bacon, inspecting every package.... during a pandemic, putting her germs on that shit, and during a meat shortage still inspecting every cut of bacon.

I saw this and was like “Hi Karen!”

I think she got it because she stopped doing that.

I didn’t get any bacon though. She touched every single package.

See that is why I disinfect everything that I buy from the grocery store because I have read so many nasty things happening
Not sure if in Canada stories like this happened as well but they were becoming common in the USA

I’ve never heard of anybody purposely contaminating stuff here in Canada... just people doing stupid things, not being careful, acting out of habit... I’m willing to cut those types of people slack regardless of how annoying they may be (even this Karen) because it’s not like I haven’t slipped and made a mistake before, like I sometimes forget that you have to stay 2 metres away from people and sometimes I forget to move to give people space on the sidewalk or something. Also, it’s really hard not to touch my face.

But people who like cough on stuff on purpose, yeah, not cool.

The funniest story I heard from Canada was a guy getting arrested for peeing on elevator buttons. But, since pee does have antiseptic properties, I was thinking “The pee may have killed any coronavirus particles on the buttons, so why arrest him?”

Yeah gross, but that’s a fun fact about pee.

LOL thats so nasty, was he drunk when he did that? He had to be because who in their right mind would do such nasty shit knowing theres cameras inside the elevator :LOL:

I think the most extreme thing that was occurring was people getting robbed outside grocery stores, which I knew something like that would end up happening when the USA declared quarantine and many workers got laid off. Eventually you had desperate people doing desperate things and I don't blame them honestly, but I do feel bad for the victims of those crimes.

Stories like that made me realize how unprepared America is, and how much of a third world country we honestly are
No first world country has the amount of problems that America has, and it sad to see so many Americans living homeless, many of them unable to pay their rent because it is very high and they are working a minimum wage, the hospital bills are off the roof overcharging you for a ridiculous amount of money and that is why many Americans are afraid of calling the ambulance or even going to the hospital

When I was living in The Netherlands, I notice a huge difference between a real first world country vs a fake first world nation like the USA
USA likes claiming its the best nation in the world and like selling the fake American dream to outsiders, yet cry when they have an immigration problem
