Iberian and Turkish teams comparison

First of all, I'm not open this thread to provoke anyone. And I know genetically and culturally Iberians are of course undoubtedly European and the other hand Turks are maybe have more Euro-admixture than their eastern neighbours such as MENA or Caucasus people but still they are genetically West Asian mostly. And mostly people don't considired them as European exactly.

I've never been to Spain or Portugal and I've been watching football and basketball for years and in these sports the people in the Turkish teams are always seemed to be more lighter or same skin toned than those in Spain and Portugal. (I know Spain or Portugal don't have full of native players but I'm already talking about just native Iberians. Also in Turkish team Ferdi and Kenan is not fully Turkish so we cannot count two. But I already talking about fully Turkish and fully Iberian players.) Here are the pics:

Many people think Turks are something like Middle Eastern and Arab and Iberians are undoubtedly European but I don't see any difference in pigmentation, even Turkish team is slightly lighter. I'm not claiming that Turks are obviously lighter skinned than Iberians or something but I just don't understand why there is such an impression. For example, the Georgian team (genetically completely West Asian) also looks lighter than the Iberians. If I open this thread to Apricity probably everyone would stone me and they keep saying that I'm OWD.

i have a feeling that this thread may cause a bit of a controversy. but firstly, a few turkish players on the turkish roster are part european afaik. secondly, turks are distinct people since not only anatolian turks have some euro shift compared to other west asians but they also have a decent chunk of east eurasian that other west asian ethnicities are bereft of. thirdly, northern west asian ethnicities are heavily darkwashed irl and online. in reality the gap in "whiteness" between mediterranean euros and some northern west asians is slim.

also many euro teams opt out for recruiting foreign players who dont fit in the said countries. as le fuckeur said yesterday, turkish team literally was whiter than the dutch team

yeah but i’m talking about native iberian and native turkish and georgian players. as i said i don’t claiming turks or geoegians as a whole lighter than iberians (we cannot decided this) but in the most sports i’ve watched always their team looks slightly lighter than iberian teams.
