well that is already some difference right there
however i am asking myself if the natufian kit is not too old for gedmatch

Are you worried that some components might be too "new" for the Natufian sample?well that is already some difference right there

Did you run those kits through Eurogenes K12b?i ran some very old kits through gedrosia k6 for example and got 90+ ssa or something . it was iran meso or something . i think some kits are too old for gedmatch
Did you run those kits through Eurogenes K12b?
Go aheadi dont remember . but we can try
By gedmatch you mean Eurogenes K12b specifically?i looked for iran meso kit and found this kit
M825671
but gedmatch runs it well actually
@vengeance which gedmatch calc offers the best mixed mode in order to determine the kit owner's ethnicity iyo
I tried all of those calcs but non of them are good enough to determine the unknown kit's ancestry. Today I ran an Azeri kit through Eurogenes K13 for example and the mixed mode results came off as 90% Kurdish or 92% Kurdish + 10% some south Asian ethnicityeurogenes k13 is decent in that regard
and even though the calc overall is not that good mdlp k16 is actually good in doing that surprisingly
i looked for iran meso kit and found this kit

by the way it scores 7% north european in dodecad k12b

I meant it for both mixed and non-mixed people.for non mixed people the population modelling is not much important . i thought you mean for mixed people like 50 50 . like half german half kurdish for example etc
the azeri gets modelled like that because it works like this :
if your results for example are very similar to the kurdish reference in the spreadsheet but with the difference that you score a little more south asian (and maybe some other components that is also high in south asians) even if only 2-3 % then it will just show Kurdish + 5-10% south asian for that person even though he/she has nothing to do with south asians
