When I say Upper Mesopotamia/Northwest Zagros, I mean the region south of Lake Van. Most people think that the Zagros Mountains are only found in Iran, but they actually start from the Southeastern Anatolia region.

in my view upper mesopotamia is more assyrian like territory. but kurds of course have a shit ton of Iran_N and are native to eastern turkey but they are unique in a way that they have less natufian and more EHG for the lands they inhabit. slightly less natufian and more EHG than armenians and not so much more natufian
