up until the distance of 0.04-0.045 one could say that they fall within the cluster of whatever ethnicities come up at those distances. Anything beyond falls off of the cluster formation but the closer the value to 004-0.045 the better. This is one way of labeling the distances close, moderate, and far. To demonstrate, I'll post the plots of me, Animal_within and fenasi. Whichever populations the 3 of us get up until 0.04 or 0.045 form the cluster with us

Apparently Baloch average from the official datasheet has 2 outlier samples in it which raises the AASI score for Balochis. These coordinates are supposed to represent non-outlier Balochi sample and scores less AASI with models

Now.. this raises a question. If non-atypical and non-outlier Baloch AKA an average Baloch has 7% AASI then why is it that a random off the street Baloch looks exotic and somewhat south asianoid? Is 7% AASI really that much that it would make someone so exotic? it can't be just the influence of the hot climate baloch live in which makes them look darker right? these are all interesting questions.. but in my opinion, it's a combination of very hot climate + AASI even if it's "only" 7%. btw they are 7% hakkipikki AASI which is one of the least West Eurasian admixed AASI. it just shows that anything above 5% AASI (especially Hakkipikki_AASI) can significantly shift your phenotype towards looking south asian influenced. Keep in mind that there are also many Baloch who don't exhibit south asian influence and can pass as west asian ethnicities

I know that a lot of ill informed people will put the blame on Iran_N as to why many Baloch look swarthy but there are west asian ethnicities who also score a lot of Iran_N albeit not as much as Baloch but they are much less exotic than Baloch so it cant be Iran_N that's making Baloch look exotic

the issue with Harappaworld's S-indian component is that it's used as a proxy to some trbial populations which definitely are not 100% South eurasian/AASI. our quest is to determine how much AASI these people score and the effects of AASI on their phenotypes. not S-indian component which is based on modern day tribals and a big portion of it is west eurasian
