Facial Types in Portugal

As a Brazilian, they look very familiar to me.

The Portuguese are obviously closer to the Spanish in looks, and outside the Iberian Peninsula, they hugely overlap with Italians and Greeks.

Some users on anthroforums say that the Portuguese are slightly darker than the Spaniards and show more Berid and NA types, but I'm not sure if that's true.

I am sure.
And as for the other. It's actually true. We can see that. I made one for Spaniards too. If you watch both videos from start to end. YOu will see.

I can see there are clear differences, I don't really think that spaniards and portuguese are exactly the same, of course we can't deny there is some overlap between both populations but also many differences, and even genetics prove it.

Yes. There are differences indeed even in genetics we can see that.

Even my boys in Italicroots notice this phenomenon.
They said many Portuguese despite being living in the most western parts of Southern Europe look more like Greek/East Med than thought!
You see more people in Spain that look closer to the French, the more North of Spain. While In Portugal, they are mostly uniform and have many people that look closer to Greek islanders. Only in northern Portugal, you see more fair types. But overall Portuguese aren't exactly the same as Spaniards in look and genetics. There is an overlap of course. But there are also many differences.
Here is a link to this same thread in Italicroots. Italicroots ain't wrong there.

Portuguese and spaniards are of course very similar.....i can agree that Spain has a wider range of phenotypes but that's probably due to geographical reasons(borders France) and numbers(Spain has like 5 times the population of Portugal).
Portugal is more isolated and probably that's the historical reason why it is a bit more homogeneous than Spain phenotypically.

Portuguese are 100% white, no one of them have been affected by any arab or northern african invasion, they are so white that they can be mistaken for albinos.
