I think that the 'Mediterranean' component can also point to some ancestry from the 'Eastern Mediterranean'/Levant.

well mediterranean is just mediterranean . both Anatolia Neolithic and Levant Neolithic score mediterranean and southwest asian too . but Anatolia N scores a lot more Mediterranean and less southwest asian . and Anatolia N also scores substantial "west european"
and you are not punjabi haha . 3% south asian is still little and normal . even some europeans score 1-2% ...even northwest europeans . but if a west asian or european would score lets say 10% then you can be sure he/she has either gypsy admix or south asian admix of some kind because only gypsies and south asians will score south asian in a big amount
