Are Kurds the originals of Mesopotamia? So i'm guessing they descend from Akkadians, Sumerians and Hurrians???? Or are Iraqi Arabs descendants of these dead groups?

And who are the ancient Assyrian descendants? As I said on Apricity, I do not think that modern day Assyrians are pure & direct descendants of ancient Assyrians/Akkadians. 3500 years ago is too fucking much to remain pure!

Interesting. Whilst I'm not a fan of modern day Middle East, its history is fucking epic. All those great and rich empires. Too bad today the whole place is an Islamic/Arab shit hole.

I love Chaldeans though. Here in Detroit they're around us and I am good friends with them. Not so much Assyrians (my ex is one, and I hated his family). But I believe they're like Assyrians, or close to them? Again I don't know cos Assyrians have an identity crisis. Sometimes they're Syriac and at others they're Arameans. So beats me....

No, it is absolutely not! Great Kurdistan is in making as we speak. Situation in Ukraine has shown once again that Turkey is an unreliable partner of the West. Turkey is useless and the West doesn't need Turkey. Turkey is finished big time. Great Kurdistan is coming soon.

But I do agree with you that at this moment it is a pipe dream to send all those Turanic people back to the Altai/Central Asia. There will be a lot resistance from the so called 'human right' groups who never helped the Kurds in the past at all.

It's going to take some miracle for any of these predictions to come to fruition. Besides, when have the major international powers ever given a rat's ass about the Kurdish people? They've always been used as political chess pieces. Besides, Kurds have different subgroups and tribes with varying political views- would it be possible to even unite? Where would they even establish a nation-state?

The only realistic area that comes to mind would be Northern Iraq given the current geopolitical circumstances. Otherwise, it all comes off as a pipe dream.

Idk, I see a lot of irredentism in those maps. Claiming parts of the current Republic of Armenia, including Western Armenia and all the way to the doorsteps of Georgia is comical IMHO. Northern Iraq and parts of Iran make the most sense from a historical context but do you honestly think Iran is going to allow that to happen? That's wishful thinking 😏

Armenians couldn’t even fully protect their own territories in Nagorno-Karabakh that they lost. How do you think they are going to liberate Ararat? Armenia has a hard time since it is allied with Russia and therefore the US is very restrained in helping the Armenians. Armenians have to negotiate about their territories on the Armenians Plateau with the Kurds.

We are not like Turks. What belongs to the Armenians belongs to the Armenians. What belongs to the Kurds/Medes belongs to the Kurds/Medes

I wouldn't say they couldn't fully protect it so much as they were sabotaged by the current Sorosites in power. We were doing fairly well on that front for a quarter century.

But I do agree in that land belongs to those who fight for it and are successfully able to maintain it.

The only way for any of this to occur is if the powers that be decide to partition Turkey to many pieces and that doesn't seem like it will happen anytime soon. Who knows though? History has seen many greater powers end up in the dustbin of history over the course of millenias.
