its more weird to see that 23andMe places Sudan with Sub-Saharan African when it should be with the other group North African/West Asian
I saw a DNA result of a Sudan guy on Reddit and he didn't look black at all, but since Sudan is placed in the SSA category, people were surprise he was pred "black" (meaning Sudanese) and looked like him
What I don't understand about my results is why I don't get any ancestry from Southern Kurdistan (Shengal area). Instead I get 6 administrative regions in Iran. Why Iran? As far as I know I don't have any ancestors from Iran. Maybe it is because Persians developed from the Kurds and that those people in Iran are actually from Kurdistan.
