@Onyx

bro can you model Iranians ? you said before that you would need a south asian source for Iranians . i just thought about it . if they will be modelled with a south asian scource while we kurds are not ....this will be another proof / explanation of why many iranians look different from us kurds . so people who give me shit for stating this fact will have to suck it up . i will ram it into their throats

I didn't model Iranians per se, I don't have time, but here's a very simple FST distance run to Punjabis from the HO dataset.

You can see the Iranian reference is much closer (FST distance of 0.0241) compared to the Kurd (FST distance of 0.0350).

I also added other neighboring references for comparison.

it says ossetians and turks are closer to punjabi than kurds are . which cant be correct

we kurds are already very far from punjabis no doubt . they are alien people to us . but that ossetians and turks are less distant than us doesnt seem right

interesting nevertheless

i would be very happy if you would model iranians and punjabis just like you modelled kurds before . but i understand that you are busy

it isnt that weird, considering both have some east asian admix, specially turks.
east asian and aasi are closer to each other than either are to west eurasian admix. this is why even turks are shown closer to south asians than kurds are on g25 even
