Criollos are the unmixed or nearly unmixed descendants of Spaniards, they could have up to 1/8 Amerindian or 1/16 Black DNA, & still be considered Criollos, Criollos make 35% to 50% of the population in the Paisa region, & the vast majority of Criollos in the region are of 100% Colonial roots, much like the Criollos from the Jaliscan Highlands:
