I think with North Indians it can depend on caste. I’m for example North Indian Brahmins to me can sometimes even have nordid phenotypes, while low caste North Indians can look Dravidian

i just ran 3 Afghan Pashtun gedmatch Kits i have on Dodecad K12b and all 3 scored around 20% south asian . to remind you the Kurdish average score is around 2-3% which is not more than other NWA populations (or only slightly so)

and i want to remind you that the south asian component in that calc is 80% or so AASI stuff and it peaks in tribals in india who score 70%+ up to 86% or so

balkan gypsies are 25% on average or so .
