Light skin is a relatively new adaptation in the human evolution and that's why.

Apparently, Neolithic Anantolians, CHG and Neolithic Iranians did have a couple to few alleles for light skin but natufians basically had none, which leads me to believe that natufians were probably similar in pigmentation to modern day central-North Indians.

In conclusion, Natufian makes people decently exotic looking. Natufians for sure were darker than modern day non-SSA admixed Saudis.
