they have this unique set of features going on. they dont really look west asian or central asian either but have a greater chance at passing in those regions than south asia. yeah genetically they pull a decent bit with punjabis and all but they just dont look it for whatever reason. maybe the environment has some affect too. kinda like persians and kurds where kurds are more mountain adapted and look noticeably different from persians.

one of the main reason why many Persians look different from us is that Persians can score a lot of south asian ....like up to 14% south asian on eurogenes k12b !!! while we Kurds score almost none
and we also have more ANF / Mediterranean than Persians
PLUS environmental reasons , PLUS the fact that ethnicities often have their own looks by default ....even portuguese and spanish dont look exactly the same for example
but there are also many persians at the same time who do look similar to us though . what i am often saying is just that even though many persians look normal northern west asian there are also many persians who look exotic
i could see you passing in pakistan actually, yes. I've mentioned that already. but you dont look 'indian' or something where they'll play this song to mock you.

LOL I do, but there's no point of obsessing over it tbh. Raptor will tell you how we used to argue here and there regarding that before. but ive gotten over it. Its not something I care that much about at this point. There's 1.4 billion of us so it doesn't apply to all of us anyways.
