These are Louisianians with partial Spanish ancestry, I'm not including full-blooded or predominantly Spanish descendants (such as the Islenos) or Creoles or Color or African-Americans with Spanish ancestry, only White Louisianians with partial Spanish blood.
They are colonial Mestizo descendants from New Mexico, they are of Spanish descent, mixed with local Native American tribes such as the Pueblo, Navajo, Apache, Comanche, & Ute, as well as Indigenous Mexican tribes too.
