Within 23andMe’s Ancestry Composition hierarchy, there are four local ancestries corresponding to regions in Atlantic Africa: Nigerian (Nigeria), Senegambian (Gambia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Senegal), Coastal West African (Sierra Leone, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Liberia), and Congolese (Angola, Democratic Republic of the Congo). Ancestry inference in the Americas reveals that the majority of individuals within the United States (93%) as well as from the British and French Caribbean (82%) tend to have ancestry from all four of these Atlantic African populations, with Nigerian being the most common of the four. A high proportion of individuals from the Guianas (64%) and the Latin Caribbean (44%) also have ancestry from all four populations, with Coastal West African ancestry in the Guianas being most common relative to other Atlantic African ancestries, and Senegambian being most common in the Latin Caribbean. The plurality (47%) of Mexican and Central American individuals have only Senegambian ancestry, whereas 32% of individuals from northern South America have both Senegambian and Nigerian ancestry. In central South America, the plurality (31%) of individuals have only Congolese ancestry

Nothing surprising about Mexico, it goes along with the spreadsheet I had done in regards to the black African origins of Mexicans via 23andMe, I do notice a slight difference though but more so on the percentage difference between Senegambia vs Congolese. In my spreadsheet the Senegambia wasnt that high, while the Congelese was a but more.

The coastal Western African has to come via the Senegambia component, if you look at the African side, Senegambia has a small percentage of it as well, very similar to Mexico's, the only one that has to be real has to be the Nigerian one, which will make sense because Nigerians were present in colonial Mexico, but I think its too high, I dont see very many mexicans with that component, so 23andMe has an agenda is trying to make us more Nigerian than the norm but I am not surprised by them...

inclusion, Mexico is the most different from all of Latin America where are just simply Senegambia/Central African mix, while the rest of Latin America are a mixture of Senegambia, Nigerian, Benin, Central Africa

I have nothing against Nigerians, so if you guys ever stumble upon this thread, I am sorry, nothing against the Naija people but I just take pride in my Angolan aka Bantu warrior roots, now I have slowly reclaimed the Senegambia which took me years to admit lol

On 23andMe & AncestryDNA, I'm 1% Bantu & 2% West African, in total I'm 1/32 Afro-Mexican from the coast of Michoacan, which came from my paternal grandma & my maternal grandpa, both are/were 1/16 Afro-Mexican.
