this man looks curryoid to me and fuckerz . like a gujarati shifted parsi or something
he is iranian . probably from isfahan but i dont know for sure.
he scores 6.9 % s-indian on harrappaworld . and i wanted to give him as example of how when you are above 5% s-indian on Harrappa then the possibility to look south asian shifted even if little increases dramatically
and he scores 7.2 south asian in Dodecad K12b and the south asian component in Dodecad K12b is also real south asian and peaks in tribals in india

Before I saw your comment I thought he was gypsy but then after seeing your comment I believe he can also pass in South Asia.
which ethnicities in particular would he pass in south asia ?
my guess is parsi , gujarati less typically , Ror , rajashtan ?

hmm i disagree that he looks that south asian
i personally think he doesnt look clear cut south asian but that he has something south asian about him and that he would pass as something like a south asianoid parsi and less typical as some other north / west south asian ethnicities
for me it is clear that when you exceed 5% s.indian component on harrappaworld then the likelyhood of having south asian vibes in your look increase dramatically . while below 5% especially below 4% will not do this most of the time

Imo he passes easily, only a few alleles control for phenotype so sometimes some alleles are expressed over others, I think that’s what happened in this case. Anyways I don’t think he looks west Asian at all, very atypical for his region.
ok but my main point is that above 5% s.indian on harrappaworld increases the chance of someone looking south asian influenced dramatically . the higher the score the more obviously
thats one of the reason why a decent amount of iranians can look south asian shifted because you will have not even only bandaris or balochs but persians who will score 8 - 14 % . and for east iranians 10% is a very normal and typical score .
while the average score for us Kurds is around 2.2 % (we calculated it )

I want to change my opinion a little. this guy looks like a gypsy but doesn't look like average Indian or Pakistani at all. He might best pass as Parsee, which is a bit of a Gujarati mix. so He is not typical of any part of India/Pakistan.
This is the phenotype common in India/Pakistan. he doesn't look like this guy
and so he can barely pass in India/Pakistan

That guy looks South Indian. We have a lot of people with the same skin tone in Pakistan but the features are off, just cause you see brown skin people doesn’t mean they look all the same, we can usually tell apart.
If I were to guess the guys ethnic group it’s probably tamil or kannadiga. I wouldn’t even guess him as Bengali even if they have similar skin tones, bengali features on average are different. Using one guy to represent a whole region bigger than Europe with 2.5 billion people is hillarious and as dumb as me putting a picture of Yasser Arafat to say this is what the average person of all former Ottoman lands look like.
