Which people? In America people are aware of whites Hispanics and Spaniards but a lot of Latinos and Spaniards are ignorant of other cultures. Like people get surprised to see white skinned people speaking Arabic or Farsi or Pashto, they get surprised that white skin people are native to north africa, they get surprised to see blue eyed blonde haired people in northern Pakistan and Afghanistan. It’s normal to be surprised when you’re not exposed to other cultures.

I’m in America and yeah there are some ignorant people but people are more aware of white Latinos than any other ethnicity and Hispanics can be super ignorant and racist themselves fme. You’re Filipino, Hispanics think y’all are chinito unless they’re really into anthro stuff, so being worried about their image is pointless.
