If he behaves decently in real life then it's a bit odd that he has all these problems surrounding his daily life. Maybe we don't have the clear picture of what his day to day life looks like but we have a reason to believe that his irl actions are identical to whatever he does here.

i got a cousin who behaves normal too, but he's a bit shy and spends a lot time home.
you can be lonely, if you dont go out.

but being outside a forum like this does the mental health better.
either way, most of his issues were just not having friends.
he should get therapy, then go out more, perhaps spend more time in gyms. lots of friendly people there

It will have a huge strain on his mental well-being if he goes outside and starts making friends without getting any help prior. You are right about that however one could balance his/her activity on the forum and social life but as tiglat said he is addicted to the forum

Even if he got banned for good on this account then I am not sure if he will give up on the forum considering how attached he is
